Platforms

Koios

Strategic ISR with a tactical footprint

Koios is our medium-sized, S2 Class, Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) platform, offering strategic ISR capabilities with a tactical footprint. Designed and manufactured in-house by Callen-Lenz, Koios is payload agnostic and is operationally proven in both civil and defence markets worldwide.

Key capabilities

Koios computer rendering
Alternator

Alternator powers aircraft systems.

Removable wings and tail

When disassembled Koios can be transported in two packing boxes. When unpacked Koios can be pre-flight checked and launched in under 10 minutes.

Electric brushless motors

Provides vertical lift.

SC3

Mission Management System.

Multi-Fuel Engine

35cc 4 stroke capable of running on a wide range of fuels including Jet A1 and gasoline.

Wet Wing

Internal fuel tanks maximise free space in fuselage for additional components.

Payload agnostic

Koios can be supplied with a standard EO/IR turret or integrated with customer specified payloads.

Fregata

High endurance, long range ISR platform.

Fregata is a medium sized, S2 class, high endurance Conventional Take-Off and Landing (CTOL) ISR platform with an enhanced payload capacity. While Fregata requires more space to land than Koios it utilises lightweight skids that make short landings achievable on almost any surface. Like Koios, Fregata has been designed from the ground up in house by Callen-Lenz and has been tailored to suit long range missions where flight endurance is a priority.

Prometheus

Reconfigurable UAS capable of autonomous subterranean mapping

Prometheus is a reconfigurable UAS, capable of mapping and autonomously navigating GNSS denied subterranean environments.

Prometheus navigates to areas Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) collecting data to build a map of underground mines and voids while collecting visual imagery to inform decisions regarding their condition. Prometheus can be deployed via a borehole into voids not accessible by people.

Produced in collaboration with Network Rail & Headlight AI.
